  • Your kids can be toddlers or teenagers. Let the parents who have walked in your shoes help guide you on this journey.

  • If you think your child is not "diverse enough" or feel their issues are very minor, this group is still for you.

I want to join a meeting. How do I sign up?

So many groups exist specifically for ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, etc.,

and your child doesn't necessarily fit into just one category as

diagnoses may overlap.

You might feel like you don’t fit into one category. Even if you feel someone

needs support more than you, you still need support, and we are

here for you!!

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • Yes! This is a free peer-to-peer support group run by a parent just like you!

  • You do not have to attend every meeting. If a topic stands out to you, please attend that meeting!

That being said, coonsider the benefits of attending all the meetings.

Someone once said "knowledge is power." Attending a meeting and learning more about something you did not know about can help you guide a friend or family member with new information. And on the flip side, if you are very well versed in the topic, we would love your expertise on the topic!

  • At this time, the meetings are only in person. It allows for an intimate discussion without the pause of catching up the people attending virtually. There may be a virtual option at some point.

  • Notes will be sent out after each meeting to the people who are signed up on the mailing list or have RSVPed to a meeting.

These notes include any names of businesses or professionals that can assist, recommendations of media to watch, etc.

To receive these notes, please make sure you have signed up for the mailing list.

  • I am not a therapist. I am a parent just like you who loved having support as a new parent. I have benefited greatly from many different support groups over the years and I could not find a group like this locally so I created it myself!

  • The goal of our meetings is to learn more to assist in all places in our kids lives. We will not be discussing IEP's in general but will share our experiences and hopefully have a separate workshop run by a professional advocate to guide that conversation.
