“PONKS has been a wonderful monthly support group for parents of neurodivergent children. More than anything, it feels so supportive to see other parents who are going through similar things that you are. Parenting a child on the spectrum can be isolating and hearing from others, even for just a few hours a month, makes you feel less alone. There has been a great variety of professionals brought in to chat, even if their expertise doesn't apply directly to your situation, it is all great information to squirrel away for the future. Every meeting I walk away with at least a few things scribbled into my Notes app to check out. Being in a neutral location of the public library is also very nice as it doesn't feel invasive.”

“It was great to meet in a friendly and supportive environment of parents who are experiencing similar concerns when it comes to their non-neurotypical children. In addition, the guest speakers have been very helpful.” - GB
